# Method:
01 - Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions and lightly grease with coconut oil.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt, ground turmeric, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground black pepper, and ground cardamom until well combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together almond milk, eggs, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and orange zest until smooth and fully incorporated.
04 - Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined; do not overmix. The batter should be thick but pourable—add a splash more milk if needed to achieve proper consistency.
05 - Ladle the batter into the preheated waffle iron, using approximately ½ to ¾ cup per waffle depending on your iron's capacity. Cook for 4–5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
06 - Remove cooked waffles and keep warm in a low oven. Repeat with remaining batter until all waffles are prepared.
07 - Serve immediately, topped with yogurt, fresh fruit, honey or maple syrup, and nuts or seeds as desired.
